Movin' outta the poor house & into the rich house!

Well, that may be a bit of an overstatment. But I do have a job now! I start bright and early this Saturday.

I will be one of the ladies that puts your buffet breakfast out for you to eat at your hotel. I'll also be one of the ladies that makes your reservation, gives you your keys, and takes your money.

The manager said that with my previous experience, she'd be crazy not to cross-train me to work at the front desk. SWEET! Which also means I'll be getting paid more than what I would get for just working in the kitchen.

She did inform me that the hotel business was hard hit by the recession and that they haven't been getting their paychecks on time, but I'm okay with that. A late paycheck is better than no paycheck!
