Here's what I've always used wedding programs for:
1. Something to read while I'm waiting for everything to start.
2. To see how much longer I'll have to wait until the reception.
3. To see who is in the bridal party.
And these reasons are exactly why I don't particularly care to print programs for our wedding.
My fiance is a little more keen on the idea, although ultimately, I don't think he cares.
What do you think? Print programs? Or save the time, money, and paper?
Nope, don't do it. They just get thrown away. Everyone knows what's going to happen.
ReplyDeleteI could take them or leave them. If you want to cut costs, nix the program. They make a nice keepsake...but you will be the ONLY one who keeps it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen programs at any of the weddings I've been too lately. I think you can definitely skip them, especially if you don't want them and Chris doesn't really care. If you want to put information about times and the bridal party, you could always put up a bulletin somewhere. They used to have weddings at the hotel I worked with and that's what we had.
