Question for my readers

We're doing a registry at a retail store and one that's an "alternative" registry where we register for things like recipes & advice. Coming from the person that didn't want to do a registry at all, two registries is pretty amazing.

So I've been taking the "it's your wedding, do what you want" advice, but I do want to please my guests. Is it too much of a pain to be registered at just one store? Obviously, it drastically reduces the options that guests have for where they buy their gift. Or do you think guests would prefer more options than just one retail store?

  1. Hi Nicole,

The only suggestion I would make is to register at a store where your out of town guests can view and or buy off of your registry. Hope that helps.

  2. Aw, I think the alternative registry is a cute idea. And I think one retail store is fine. Plus, not everyone has to get you something off the registry. A lot of people give money or they might have a special gift they want to give you.

My alternative registry gift is going to Chris and that is his wedding vows. They are written up and ready to go. Haha, perhaps we could hire Ray to do artwork behind the vows and then I could frame it and give it to you as a gift :P

    You're welcome.
