Does anyone have any suggestions (cheap and easy) for a 30th birthday party I'm holding in honor of my boyfriend (it will be in September)?
I'm creating a cd of the top 100 songs from 1978 (I don't know if they're really the top 100--it's just a list I found on the Internet), getting a keg, making a cake, making a poster of some major events of 1978, and setting out pictures and a photo album of him as a young'un. I thought about making a t-shirt for him to wear, but all of the sayings I've found are too cheesy & not worth the time, energy, or money to order one.
I found only one "You know you're thirty when..." on the Internet and it was based out of UK so it didn't make much sense. Bummer!
As for food, grilling has been a little overdone so I was thinking about getting a huge sub and everyone else can bring sides. That might be a little heavy on my wallet though--especially if I get a keg. I've tried doing a sign-up sheet for food before and that didn't work. Any suggestions?
Perhaps I should stop by a party store too. What a novel idea!
Lady, I'd say you'd done enough already! He'll love it!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it definitely sounds like you have it covered already. Those are some really thoughtful ideas too. You'll have to take pictures!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have great things in the works already! And you can always make your own big sandwiches with baguettes or whatever looks tasty! Lucky man! :)
ReplyDeletePanini's sound good! Too bad I don't have a panini grill...
ReplyDeleteOh, I plan to do that too. Actually, I'll have to think of something new...I do that everyday anyway.
